The annual growth of the domestic used vehicle market from 2015 to 2019 came to a halt in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Total transfers fell by 9.9% in 2020 (2020/19). However, in 2021 the total number of transfers increased by 19.4% (2021/20).
Passenger vehicles have had the lion’s share in total vehicle transfers over time (71.2% in 2021), followed by two-wheelers with 18.2% and trucks (9.1%), in the same year.
