The production of construction paints and furniture varnishes registered a rise of 9.6% in 2019 compared to 2018.
The domestic market size increased by 8.9% in 2019 compared to the previous year (in quantity) and by 6.7% (in value).
Plastic, acrylic, insulating paints and their primers have the lion’s share in the total domestic market in 2019 (83%), followed by varnish paints (9%), varnishes (6%) and solvents - dryers (2%).
The vast majority of paints - varnishes (92%) are available in the market through the channel of paint stores and department stores, in 2019.
